Mark Braun, born in 1975, is a trained carpenter and industrial designer. Since founding his own design studio in Berlin in 2006, he has created a diverse portfolio that includes furniture, lighting and tableware. His work has received numerous accolades, including the iF Award, Red Dot, and German Design Award.

In addition to his design practice, Braun has held academic positions as a visiting professor and guest lecturer at institutions such as HKD Burg Giebichenstein in Halle and ECAL Lausanne. Since 2015, he has been a professor of industrial design at HBK Saar.

For Mono, Mark Braun is responsible for the reedition of the iconic Mono Ring flatware collection and the design of the Mono Fondue.
