SEBASTIAN SCHÖNHEIT

 

Sebastian Schönheit is a Berlin-based industrial designer whose multidisciplinary practice spans furniture and product design, scenography and architectural installations. His work is defined by a distinctive authorial approach, combining conceptual clarity, precise forms and functional simplicity with a subtle sense of softness and materiality.

A graduate of Bauhaus University, Schönheit approaches design through reduction, focusing on the essential qualities of materials, construction and function. By revisiting established typologies and historical design principles, he develops contemporary objects characterised by clean aesthetics, considered proportions and lasting relevance.

His perspective was further shaped during eight years as Head of Product Design at NEW TENDENCY, alongside his work with internationally recognised brands across product, fashion, industrial design and exhibition architecture.
