SIMON BUSSE

 

Simon Busse is an industrial designer and founder of Simon Busse Studio, an established German design practice working across furniture, products and spatial design. Founded in 2005, the studio combines aesthetic precision, technical sensitivity and an experimental approach to create enduring objects and environments.

Busse’s work is characterised by a close relationship between form, function and construction. Moving between industrial series production, custom furniture and spatial installations, the studio develops considered solutions that balance functional clarity with a distinctive contemporary design language.

Alongside collaborations with internationally recognised brands and institutions, Simon Busse has taught at universities in Germany and internationally since 2011. His work has received numerous design awards, been exhibited internationally and is represented in the permanent collection of the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
