MONO TWIN by German designer Fried Ulber is a versatile design object that combines two functions in one reduced form: a candleholder and a vase. Originally introduced in 1985 as two separate designs, the classic returns from the MONO archive in a reimagined 2026 edition, bringing both functions together in a single object for the first time.
Crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, MONO TWIN is defined by its clear proportions, precise construction and understated sculptural presence. Its interchangeable inserts allow the object to transform effortlessly between a candleholder and a vase. A rubber ring securely holds the candleholder insert in place, while a matching borosilicate glass insert provides a functional vessel for displaying flowers.
Designed to adapt to different settings and everyday rituals, MONO TWIN can be used individually or arranged in compositions, bringing a subtle architectural quality to dining tables, shelves and contemporary interiors.
More than four decades after its original introduction, MONO TWIN combines functional versatility, material clarity and timeless design in a contemporary reinterpretation of a German design classic.
MONO TWIN is exclusively available through analograum as the collection's sole independent retail partner.
