The Tension side table is part of the Tension furniture collection by Dutch designer Paul Coenen. Sheet metal is often being folded to rule out its flexible properties and to create stiffness within the material.

Paul Coenen makes use of the flexible materiality by connecting all parts solely due to the sheet’s force of bending back to its original shape. The surface is slightly sanded to give it a satin gloss finish.

Limited edition, each side table is numbered and signed by the designer.
